3543 Rapunzel Plaid Cardigan
This piece reminds us of the stained glass windows that Frank Lloyd Wright designed for his houses. It's much smoother and less choppy to make than it looks, because clever Klein has you crochet the vertical lines on after the main knitting is done, so all you have to worry about is changing the main colour occasionally, which anyone can do. It's a drop- shouldered, crew-necked classic offering wonderful opportunities for colour experiments, or even using up scraps. In which case, instead of a Lloyd Wright, you land up with a Mondrian painting. Win, win, win.
